What have we learned kiddies? We, as a nation are not ready to allow Kevin Costner to pick a President in some sort of moral feel good film. Obviously, we predicted the total amount for the Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor wrong. I guess I forgot how much people love sequels to movies that have been roughly a decade in the making. As seen here, here, here, and here. Even though The Dark Knight is still number one, If we had some movie involving Brendan Fraser traveling into the center of some tomb to fight mummies and dinosaurs as a scientist/explorer. Well that might just have knocked the messiah of movies of it's top spot. I guess we will just have to wait for Pineapple Express and it's catchy promo song to surpersede The Dark Knight.
